Official Charity status

As of the 7th of September 2026, Bags of Hope Projects UK earned official charitable status, further emphasising the importance of equitable access to education and resources.

From the founder, Mia:

“ We are absolutely over the moon that Bags of Hope Projects UK has become an official recognised UK charity. The recognition is a wonderful tribute to all of the hard work from trustees, volunteers, partners and schools who have invested their time and effort into the cause. With this official recognition Bags of Hope Projects UK is able to fundraise and bring more bags to school children in Kenya and beyond. We can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us!”
